Skeletal remains found in large field near Highway 11 in Huntsville

Police advise there is no threat to public safety
Wasaga Beach resident robbed by man claiming to be a police officer

OPP is investigating the discovery of human remains.

Police say the remains were found by a member of the public around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, west of Highway 11 in a large field near Hemmings Road in a rural part of Huntsville.

OPP advise there is no public safety concern.

This investigation is ongoing and further information will be released when it becomes available.   

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Huntsville OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
