This is your last weekend to check out the Barrie Ski & Board Equipment Swap & Sale. Snow Valley is hosting the event in conjunction with its own Open House event on November 6. It's the perfect place to have some fun and get everything you need for your season on the slopes.
The Open House will have lots of fun activities for the whole family including hay wagon rides, lifts to the top of the hill on the Wideload, a mini-tube slide, and more. Be sure to relax with a nice cup of hot apple cider too!
The swap itself is limiting capacity this year in order to keep it as safe as possible. That means you'll have to head over to the website and book yourself a pre-set time slot. Other Covid safety precautions like masking, screening, and proof of vaccination (for indoor activities) will also be in place. They also ask that you try to keep your shopping time to around 30 minutes and to only book tickets for those that require equipment. Tickets themselves are only $5 for anyone over 16 and for anyone under 15, it's free!
