It's the lazy person's way to clear snow from a vehicle.
In a post on X Tuesday, Ontario Provincial Police say the officer asked the driver if they knew why they were being pulled over, and the motorist responded that they were trying to clear snow off the windshield.
"Apparently this driver thinks snow removal works better at Mach 1. Spoiler alert: it doesn't," police added.
The driver was pulled over on Concession Road 7 in Adjala-Tosorontio Township after their vehicle was clocked at 114 km/h in an 80-zone.
The motorist was issued a $259 ticket.
"Slow down and invest in a snow brush - it's cheaper than a ticket," police wrote on X.
