Tim Hortons annual Smile Cookie campaign is back this week (April 29 through May 50 with proceeds supporting several local groups.
“Our annual Smile Cookie campaign is a beloved and cherished tradition for Tim Hortons restaurant owners, team members and guests because of the amazing impact we can make together – while enjoying some delicious cookies,” says Axel Schwan, President of Tim Hortons. “Last year’s Smile Cookie campaign raised a record-breaking $19.7 million across Canada and I know our guests will be rallying with us again this year to support over 600 charities and community groups and the amazing work they do.”

The Smile Cookie program started in 1996 to help raise funds for the Hamilton Children’s Hospital in Ontario. Today, 600+ local charities and organizations in communities across Canada benefit from Smile Cookie sales.
Among the local recipients this year:
- Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) and Hospice Simcoe were selected by Tim Hortons restaurant franchise owners in Barrie and Stroud
- Innisfil ideaLAB & Library, Cookstown Branch and the Essa Public Library, Thornton Branch were selected by Tim Hortons Thornton, 4191 Innisfil Beach Road, Tim Hortons Cookstown, 48 Queen Street, Tanger Outlets Tim Hortons Cookstown
- Innisfil Food Bank was chosen by Tim Hortons at 2098 Commerce Park and 940 Innisfil Beach Rd
- Million Dollar Smiles was selected by Innisfil Onroute
- Stevenson Memorial Hospital will benefit from sales at thee locations in Alliston - 157 Young St., 3 Dunham Dr., and 4894 County Road 50
- Ramara Public Library will benefit from sales at the Tim Hortons in Brechin
- Orillia Youth Centre was selected by Tim Hortons owners in Orillia
- WOW-Living in the chosen recipient in Bradford
