Whether it's blowing up a toilet, building a boat out of duct tape, or firing a water heater through a house, MythBusters fans were never starved for entertainment. Now, you can get your hands on some of the actual props used and created on the show.
The MythBusters Online Charity Auction will include over 80 props, blueprints, art, and behind-the-scenes production material from both MythBusters and MythBusters: The Search. Some of the items include the Jaws Mechanical Shark, TNT Box, and even one of the most famous of all the props: an actual Buster stunt dummy!
The proceeds of the auction will benefit The Grant Imahara STEAM Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Grant’s mother, Carolyn Imahara, and several of his lifelong friends.
Guided by the core principles embodied by Grant throughout his life – curiosity, integrity, and generosity – The Grant Imahara STEAM Foundation’s mission is to inspire emerging talent and empower underserved youth in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math education.
