Sorry everybody, but Art Attack’s Neil Buchanan isn’t Banksy

We might never find out who he really is...

There was an odd rumour floating around the internet over the weekend that claimed Neil Buchanan, host of Art Attack, is the famous unknown street artist Banksy.

Banksy has been active since the 1990s with his satirical, subversive street art and political activism, along with directing a film in 2010 called Exit Through The Gift Shop. Banksy has managed to keep his identity a secret to this day and it is still a hotly contested subject who exactly he is.

Unfortunately, it seems this mystery will remain unsolved because Neil Buchanan himself released an official statement debunking the rumours:

“We have been inundated with enquiries over the weekend regarding the current social media story. Unfortunately, this website does not have the infrastructure to answer all these enquiries individually, however, we can confirm that there is no truth in the rumour whatsoever.”

But that’s just what the real Banksy would say…right?
