Fire tore through a south-end Barrie home overnight.
Assistant Deputy Chief Rachel Chinchilla told Barrie 360 that they received multiple calls around 1 a.m. about the fire on Hurst Drive.
About 20 firefighters battled the blaze at the one-storey bungalow.
Barrie Police say when officers arrived, the garage was fully engulfed.
Two occupants got out safely and nearby residents were evacuated as a precaution.
There is no cause or damage estimate available.
