South Simcoe Police searching for Jake, a missing dog who may have been taken in Innisfil

Six-month-old pup ran off during May 15 walk

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a puppy who may have been dog-napped.

A 6-month-old mastiff/lab mix named Jake was last seen Saturday, May 15 at around 10:30 p.m. in the area of 10th Line and Purvis Street in Innisfil. The dog ran off during a walk and hasn’t been seen since; there is concern that someone may have taken Jake.

The South Simcoe Police Service would like to speak to a man and woman in a red vehicle, spotted in a parking lot at the corner of Ireton Street and 10th Line at the time Jake went missing.
