"Two competitors. Two samples. One microscopic finish line."
Forget about betting on the ponies; it's time for Sperm Racing.
Yup! A race to truly see how fast the little boys can swim.
A Los Angeles startup has announced the first ever "Sperm Racing League" to see how fast a certain set of swimmers can complete the task.
The race will be held on a microscopic race track, complete with leaderboards, commentary and replays.
Best of all, people can bet on the winner.
Don't worry about not being able to see the little guys because it will be televised and tracked by high-resolution cameras.

According to the company Website "the mini-marathon will see two spermatozoa — which measure 0.05 millimeters long — race 20cm along a microscopic racetrack modeled after the female reproductive system with "chemical signals, fluid dynamics" and "synchronized starts."
The startup consists of young tech moguls who raised $1 million dollars to put on the event and make the technology possible.
The event isn't just for the giggles ( which is okay) but also to raise awareness about declining male fertility.
The race takes place on April 25 in front of thousands of spectators.
