
South Simcoe Police (SSP) have given a man multiple charges after he was found in Barrie after the vehicle he stole in Bradford West Gwillimbury was spotted.
Tuesday at 12:30 p.m., a man estimated to be aged in his 30s or 40s was seen stealing a Toyota Corolla from a plaza on Holland Street.
Later, at 8:30 p.m., SSP got a report with a matching description of the vehicle which had it located on Dunlop Street. Soon after, the same man was seen leaving a store and attempting to enter the car.

Police determined that the same suspect had also stolen alcohol earlier in the day back in Bradford West Gwillimbury from a store on Bridge Street.
Eventually, the man was arrested and charged with seven offences:

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
