South Simcoe Police are investigating what they believe to be suspicious fire in Innisfil Thursday, which could've been intentionally set.
Around 11:30 p.m., the Innisfil Fire Department alerted police to the fire, which prompted a response to a vacant condominium building.
There, officers found evidence of an intentionally set fire outside the building before finding signs of a second intentionally set fire a short distance away.
Once the area was secured, the service's Criminal Investigation Bureau took over the investigation, and it was confirmed that no one was injured as the building was vacant and the damage from the fires was minimal.
Police determined that a male suspect, wearing dark-coloured clothing and a mask covering a portion of their face, approached the property and set both fires before fleeing the area on foot.
Anyone who can aid the investigation is asked to contact the South Simcoe Police Service Criminal Investigation Bureau.
