Two charged after thefts of tires from shop in New Tecumseth

Two women face charges following an investigation into the thefts of tires from a tire shop in New Tecumseth.

Nottawasaga OPP say the investigation started last month regarding the stolen tires.

Then on Thursday, October 5, a search warrant was executed at a home in Alliston, with police seizing 50 grams of cocaine and $1,000 worth of stolen tires.

A 34-year-old from New Tecumseth was charged with:

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime - Under $5,000

As well, a 41-year-old from Gravenhurst with:

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine

The two are scheduled to appear in court in November.
