18 motorists over two days charged with stunt driving by Huronia West OPP

Too much need for speed in the area covered by Huronia West OPP.

Police say 18 individuals were charged with stunt driving in just two days at the weekend in separate and unrelated occurrences.

The speed of the vehicles ranged from 150 km/h to 168 km/h per hour.

Each driver received a 30-day licence suspension, and the vehicles were impounded for 14 days.

The Huronia West OPP coverage area includes Clearview Township, Springwater Township and Wasaga Beach.
