Sudden death investigation in Angus: OPP

Provincial police don't consider the death of a person who was found behind a business in Angus as suspicious.

Around 9:00 on Monday morning, the OPP received a call for an unresponsive person in the area of King and Mill Streets. The individual, identified as a 31-year-old Schomberg man, was pronounced dead a short time later.

The Nottawasaga OPP Crime Unit is continuing the investigation with the assistance from the OPP Forensic Identification Services, in conjunction with the Officer of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Centre.

Police added that there is no threat to public safety.
