The Virtual Hike for Hospice Simcoe is back again to raise money for the amazing work they do in Simcoe County.
Hospice Simcoe is a specialized form of healthcare which aims to relieve suffering and improve the quality of life for those living with a life limiting illness, as well as their families. Hospice palliative care addresses the specific physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and practical issues, and their associated expectations, needs, hopes, and fears on an individual basis.
Despite all the challenges last year, The Virtual Hike for Hospice Simcoe still managed to raise an incredible $80,000. “We are so grateful to this community and our ‘hikers’ who continue to support us through this meaningful event. We could not provide the programs and services we do without your generosity" said Kelly Hubbard, Executive Director at Hospice Simcoe.
This year's event kicks off on May 2 and will run all month long. Registration is open right now so you can sign up, create a team, or make a donation!
