Support local with these takeout specials and family meal deals in Barrie

stay in, eat well.

Deciding what’s for dinner every day, for seven days straight, can put a strain on anyone, so why not take a break from cooking and let someone else do all the hard work. Many restaurants across Barrie are offering special takeout deals and family meal packs that make it easier (and more affordable) than ever, to support local.

Bull and Barrel Pub

Let’s kick things off with “what a real pub should be”. The Bull and Barrel Pub is offering their classic pub fare for takeout. Want chicken wings? They’ve got ’em! Beef Dip? Yup! Fish & Chips? You know it! They’re also offering family-sized lasagna for takeout, but make sure you give them plenty of notice if that’s what your heart desires. Buy yourself a dartboard, turn on your favourite game, and you’ve got yourself a pub night at home!

Town & County Steakhouse

There’s a reason Town & Country Steakhouse has been around for so long. Just because you can’t sit in, doesn’t mean it’s any harder getting your hands on some of the best food Barrie has to offer. Town & Country Steakhouse offers daily specials for two that give you lots of different choices for a full three-course meal. We hope you’re hungry!

The Farmhouse

Posted by The Farmhouse Restaurant on Friday, December 18, 2020

After a successful run in the summer, The Farmhouse’s Drive-In Menu is back by popular demand! Every weekend (Friday and Saturday from 4 to 8 and Sunday from 2 to 6) you can pull up, text your order, and they’ll bring it, hot and fresh, right to your car! The Farmhouse changes the menu every weekend but you can look forward to things like the Prime Rib Beef Dip, Meatball Sub, and Parmigiana Sandwich.

Crazy Fox Bistro

If you haven’t tried Crazy Fox Bistro, now might be a perfect time. Fox in a Box is their takeout menu that has tons of appetizers, entrees, and desserts from their regular menu but at a special discounted price. The menu is available from Tuesday to Saturday and just one taste, you will understand why their slogan is “Quality Without Compromise”.

Queens

Posted by Queens Hometown Pub on Wednesday, September 30, 2020

We have a confession. When anyone invited us to the Queens we got rather excited and it wasn’t the trivia, live music, or nightclub that got us that way (although, all those things are fantastic). It was the food. Thankfully, all of our favourites like deep-fried pickles, coconut shrimp, nachos, and pizza, are all available on their takeout menu.

Cocina Mexicana

Just because you can’t take a trip down south, doesn’t mean amazing Mexican food is out of reach. Cocina Mexicana is offering tons of their authentically made food on their takeout menu. You can grab something just for yourself or choose one of their platters that includes all the meat, shells, and toppings to have your own Fiesta at home.

Dosti Eats

For anyone who doesn’t want to limit their taste buds to just one region, Dosti Eats has delicious delicacies from all over the world. They are encouraging people to get creative and make their own worldly Bento boxes by mixing and matching food from Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, and more. Samosas and burritos with jerk chicken sliders? Don’t mind if we do.
