Police have charged a person in connection with shootings in Bradford and Toronto that happened on January 15.
Around 6:30 that morning, South Simcoe Police responded to reports of the sound of gunshots in the area of Blue Dasher Boulevard. Once they got to the scene, officers determined that a shooting had occurred. No one was injured.
During the investigation, police determined that this incident was connected to another shooting that happened in Toronto earlier the same day.
As a result of a joint investigation with the Toronto Police Service Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force, a suspect was identified.
This past Sunday, the suspect was arrested and charged with various firearm related offences and held for a bail hearing.
The name of the accused was not released.
