Suspect Hurt During Orillia Raid
Multiple Suspects Arrested
A heavy police presence in Orillia Friday evening resulted in multiple arrests.
The Orillia OPP detachment sent the K9, Emergency Response Team, and Tactics and Rescue Unit to a home on Forest Ave. near Hilda St. around 6:30 Friday evening to execute a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation.

Police say multiple people have been taken into custody as part of this investigation but did not specify the nature of the crimes. During the arrest, one suspect was wounded after police say a “less-than-lethal use of force option” was used by officers on scene.
Charges are pending, according to a statement from OPP Sgt. Jason Folz.
