Suspected human remains found in Springwater Township
A member of the public found the remains
Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the discovery of suspected human remains.
Around 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Huronia West OPP say a member of the public located the remains around on a property off of Penetanguishene Road.
A post-mortem examination will be done to identify the remains and determine a cause of death.
Investigators believe there is no threat to public safety.
An increased police presence should be expected in the area.
