Four hospitalized after single-vehicle collision in front of home in Barrie

A crash at the southeast corner of Ferndale Drive and Edgehill Drive in Barrie resulted in four people being hospitalized with minor injuries.

It took place around 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon, and Barrie Police and Barrie Fire responded to the scene.

A grey Hyundai Tuscon crashed through a small stone wall in front of a home in the area and ended up on the elevated portion of the lawn.

Police say the age and gender of the four individuals inside the car at the time were unknown and added the injuries sustained have been deemed minor. They were taken to RVH by ambulance

The crash's cause remains under investigation.
