Police investigating briefcase displaying anti-Semitic symbol

South Simcoe Police need witnesses following a disturbing discovery in Innisfil Monday afternoon.

A dead animal was discovered inside an open briefcase with an anti-Semitic symbol painted on the lid. It was found near the intersection of Corner Avenue and Killarney Beach Road.

It has since been removed from the scene and disposed of.

No arrests have been made. Police believe that this was an isolated incident but investigations continue. Anyone with information should contact South Simcoe Police at (705) 436-2141.
