Barrie police tactical officers were spotted on the balcony of an apartment building at 101 Kozlov St on Friday in response to a domestic call.
Police responded to the building in the area of Bayfield and Heather Streets around 8 a.m.
Several tactical officers lowered themselves to the balcony from the rooftop of the building.
"Based on the information we were dealing with, it was an appropriate police response," police communications spokesperson Peter Leon told Barrie 360.
Leon added that it was an "isolated" incident.
