OPP say the driver of the pickup truck who was killed in the collision has been identified as 26-year-old Joey Baker of Tay Township.
The investigation into the cause of the crash which closed Highway 12 for over 12 hours continues.
Investigators ask that anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dashcam video is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or opp.southern.georgian.bay@opp.ca.

OPP say the pickup truck driver involved in the crash died on the scene from injuries sustained in the collision.
According to police, the operator of the commercial dump truck was treated for minor injuries at the scene by emergency services.
Highway 12 between Gratrix Road and Fraser Road Tay Township remains closed in both directions and is expected to reopen late this afternoon.

A serious crash between a pickup and dump truck Wednesday morning has closed Highway 12 in Tay Township.
Southern Georgian Bay OPP say around 10:15, officers responded to the incident between Gratrix Road and Frazer Lane.
First responders, including Tay Township Fire Services and Simcoe Paramedic Services, are on scene treating the involved drivers.
OPP say they expect Highway 12 to be closed at a minimum until 4:00 p.m. for investigation.
Police say Neekaunis Road is being used as a detour around the crash and Midland-Orillia traffic should consider using Vasey Road to detour.
