Provincial police have charged a 16-year-old in connection with the death of an infant who was found deceased by officers at a residence in Alliston on November 21, 2024.
On Wednesday, police arrested and charged a teen with first-degree murder and indignity to a dead body.
The accused, whose identity is withheld under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, remains in custody and is scheduled to appear virtually in court in Barrie.
Police added the investigation is continuing.
