Two young men from Simcoe County are participating in the Great Cycle Challenge to help raise money for the SickKids Foundation and their fight against childhood cancer.

For about 2 months, Austin and Jon have been cycling up a storm and already have a whopping 845 km under their belts including their longest single ride of 87 km. Why? They said "1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it".

The two have already surpassed their initial goal of $5000 but even that wasn't enough for them. They have also started a bottle drive to raise even more money and have already collected $500 worth of bottles.

If you would like to contribute to this amazing initiative, you can head over to the Great Cycle Challenge website and donate there or visit Austin's Facebook page if you have any bottles to donate!
