The upcoming season of "The Good Fight" will be its last.
Paramount+ has announced that the hit drama will end after season 6.
Reports say the season will continue to deal with timely topics and revisit previous issues like Roe v. Wade, voting rights, and Cold War aggressions.
In an interview with TV Line, creators Michelle and Robert King said the decision to end the show was theirs.
"We looked at how we were building Season 6 and felt that if there was ever a time to end the show, it was now, given the cataclysmic nature of the season." Robert king said.
Michelle King added, "Season 6 is very much about civil war erupting in our country, and it felt like that was the story to tell in the last season of this show."
The final season marks the end of the 13-year-old "Good" franchise, which started in 2009 with the show "The Good Wife."
The final season of "The Good Fight" hits the streaming service on September 8th.
