Three men from Brampton have been charged by Nottawasaga OPP in connection to a series of thefts from LCBO stores in New Tecumseth.

Last May, police say they received various calls from several LCBO locations in the area that the same individuals were shoplifting high value amounts of alcohol from several stores.

Provincial police say the thefts were not just occurring in the Nottawasaga detachment area, but throughout Huronia West, Collingwood, Caledon, and the area of Dufferin OPP, with more than $32,000 in stolen booze.

The charges against two suspects also included failing to comply with release orders, seven and five counts respectively.

The accused have been held for a bail hearing at a later date.
