Alert Ready System Gets a Dry Run Wednesday Afternoon
Consider yourself warned: there’s a test of a warning system coming up.
The Alert Ready system will get its third dry run today, with a test warning going out to televisions, radio, and smartphones at 1:55 this afternoon.

The wireless alert ready system was first introduced in April, while the Ontario test in May saw little success; many Ontarians reported not receiving the alert when it was supposed to go out. A second test proved more successful than the first.
