Thousands of dollars in drugs seized in Muskoka

Traffic stop leads to drug seizure

A drug bust in Muskoka that began with a motorist calling police about an erratic driver on Highway 11 Friday afternoon.

Huntsville OPP located the vehicle and charged the motorist with impaired by drug.

The vehicle was towed to the detachment where officers seized fentanyl, cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana, and Canadian currency. Police said the drugs have a street value of $16,000.

Besides the impaired charge, a 29 year old Gravenhurst man is up on a number of drug offences, as is a 26 year old Huntsville man.
