Four people, including a motorist and three pedestrians, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a crash at Bayview Drive and Little Avenue.

Barrie police spokesperson Peter Leon tells Barrie 360 that emergency services were alerted about the collision around one Friday afternoon.

Leon says the investigation has determined that a vehicle was making a turn when it was struck by a second vehicle which hit three people who were crossing the road, and then a third vehicle was also involved.

The intersection was closed for clean-up but has since reopened.
