There was a three-vehicle collision in Innisfil that sent a woman to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
South Simcoe Police say emergency crews were alerted just after 11 a.m. Monday about the collision that occurred at Yonge Street and the 5th Line.
As a result, Yonge Street was closed between 4th Line and 5th Line, and 5th Line was closed between the 10th Sideroad and 20th Sideroad for about three hours as officers investigated.
South Simcoe Police remind all motorists to drive with care, remain attentive behind the wheel, maintain a safe following distance, and adjust their driving to changing road and traffic conditions.
