Three teens charged in alleged assault near Angus high school last Friday

Police seized a knife and a BB air pistol

Ontario Provincial Police have charged three teens in connection with a dispute at a skateboard park in Angus on Friday, Feb. 26 that resulted in a 16-year-old male being taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police were called to the park near Nottawasaga Pines Secondary School around 10 a.m. and were told a fight took place between students and there may have been a firearm and knife involved. The school was placed in a hold and secure until officers located the suspects.

A 17-year-old male from Angus has been charged with assault. Two other males from Angus, aged 16 and 17, face assault and weapons charges.
