The Tiger King's Zoo just sold for $140,000

Part of the million dollar settlement awarded to Carole Baskins
Tiger King Property

Although Netflix sensation and one-time presidential candidate, Joe Exotic, is spending the next couple of decades behind bars, bitter rival Carole Baskin has just sold the Tiger King's Zoo for $140,000.

If you somehow missed it, Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin were the subjects of a Netflix series that became a sensation in 2020. Spoiler Alert: What started as a rivalry, grew into a series of lawsuits and eventually a murder-for-hire plot against Baskin that lead to over 20 years of jail time for Exotic.

If you haven't seen it, check out the trailer:

In this series, a trademark lawsuit was filed by Baskin, which she won, and Exotic now owes her one million dollars. To pay for part of that settlement, Exotic's Zoo was awarded to Baskin in mid-2020 and she has just sold it for $140,000. The property came with a few rules for whoever purchased it, though, including having no affiliation to Joe Exotic and the property cannot be used as a zoo for at least 100 years.

With the property now barred from housing exotic animals of any kind and Joe Exotic possibly getting even more jail time with a re-sentencing hearing coming up, the story of the Tiger King is looking to have a happy ending.
