To the average person, these might seem harmless, but believe me, to your teenager, they are detrimental to their social standing.
For example, never talk to your kid friends. Even if you're driving them somewhere, as he says, you should be " their anonymous Uber driver."
If your kid has friends over, don't bring out a platter of food, as this is seen as desperate.

Don't ask for a condiment at a restaurant, " I Guess if you like mayo on a burger, it makes you look 'Karen,'" he explains.
