UPDATE (Saturday, October 22, 6 p.m.):

OPP say Highway 11 southbound has been reopened partially to traffic and will be fully open once cleanup has been completed.

According to police, the driver involved in the collision suffered minor injuries and was charged with several offences under the Highway Traffic Act.

Previous Story (Saturday, October 22, 12:16 p.m.):

OPP say they have closed Highway 11 southbound lanes at Bethune Drive South in Gravenhurst for a single-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer unit.

On Saturday at 10:10 a.m., Bracebridge OPP, with the Gravenhurst Fire Department and Muskoka Emergency Medical Services (EMS), responded to the collision involving the single tractor-trailer rollover just south of the Bethune Drive South exit.

They say the tractor-trailer was hauling a load of lumber which spilled across the roadway and shoulder. Police say it will require extended time to remove it all from the area.

The driver was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

OPP say Highway 11 remains closed to remove the vehicle and debris.
