One person was killed in a collision between a CN freight train and two vehicles on Highway 12 in Brechin.
First responders were called to the scene shortly after 11 on Sunday night.
Orillia OPP says the driver of one of the vehicles, 63-year-old Sean Carpenter, of Kirkfield was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second person was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
