Trio arrested in connection to pair of overnight break-ins in Collingwood

Two businesses on Hurontario Street broken into last week

A trio of suspects is facing charges after a pair of break and enters in Collingwood last week.

Huronia West OPP says the two break and enters took place shortly after 1 a.m. March 12 along Hurontario Street; suspects broke into businesses and made off with a number of items including cellphones, tablets, and lottery tickets.

The investigation into the thefts led to the execution of a search warrant at a Saint-Marie Street home where three people were taken into custody.

A 37-year-old Barrie man as well as a man and woman from Collingwood, aged 34 and 33 respectively, face several charges and are expected in Collingwood court in mid-April.
