Tuesday night Cumberland Beach fire causes $200,000 in damage

Fire started in shed, spread from there

Fire officials continue looking for the cause of a damaging fire in Cumberland Beach Tuesday night.

Severn Fire was called to the home on Lee Avenue around 11:00 that night after a fire started in a shed and spread from there. Fire Chief Tim Cranney tells Barrie 360 the blaze did approximately $200,000 in damage by the time it was knocked down. Chief Cranney confirms there were no injuries.

Cranney added investigators were on scene Thursday to probe for a cause of the fire.
