Barrie police say a motorist already under two driving-related licence suspensions was pulled over during a traffic stop in the area of Victoria and John Streets around 6:30 Monday morning.

The 30-year-old Elmvale woman was placed under arrest and police say they located two prohibited spring-type knives, 10 cartons of illegal cigarettes, a quantity of illicit drugs, and just over one pound of suspected methamphetamine," police said in a news release.

The accused was transported to Barrie Police Headquarters where she was charged and held for a bail hearing.
