UPDATE: Police Identify Two Children Killed After Group of Snowmobilers Goes Through Ice
Muskoka EMS Rushed 11- and 15-year-olds To Hospital

The OPP have identified the two young boys killed in yesterday morning’s incident as 15 year-old Alexander Martin of Gravenhurst and 11 year-old Mitchell Paris of Bracebridge.
The police investigation continues.
March 4th
Two children are dead after three snowmobiles carrying five people went through the ice of Lake Muskoka.
Emergency crews were called to the frozen lake shortly after midnight with reports five people were trapped in the water. Three people, a 31- and 37-year-old man along with a 14-year-old youth, were able to get themselves to shore. Bracebridge OPP and Muskoka EMS retrieved the other two.
An 11-year-old and 15-year-old were taken to hospital where they later died.
