The Health Unit says it gained these eight cases over the weekend, with a case each also reported in Bradford-West Gwillimbury, Midland, Tay Township, New Tecumseth, and Innisfil. There is one case that is under further review, the location of which has yet to be detailed.

This comes as the province-wide caseload expanded by another 257 cases, the first time the daily addition breached the 200-mark in five days, and the highest one-day addition since June 13.
