Two women have been charged following a shooting in Gravenhurst earlier this year.
Police say emergency crews were called to a residence on Bethune Drive South around 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 9 after a woman suffered a gunshot wound.
She was taken to hospital and then transferred to a Toronto-area hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say officers recovered a firearm inside the home.
As a result of a lengthy investigation, a 38-year-old Gravenhurst woman was charged on June 13 with firearm and drug-related offences.
A second arrest was made on Wednesday, and a 31-year-old Gravenhurst woman is facing weapons charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
