Two people were killed in a three-vehicle head-on crash north of Elmvale.
Just before noon Saturday, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision on County Road 27 between Flos Road 11 East and Baseline Road.
OPP say an 80-year-old man and a 77-year-old woman, both of Midland, were pronounced dead at the scene, two others were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and one was transported to a Toronto area trauma centre.
Investigators are asking witnesses or anyone with video footage of the collision to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.
