
Barrie police rounded up a pair of suspects within five minutes of being alerted about a theft of power tools from a south-end box store on Tuesday afternoon.
Police say responding officers located a 44-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman in a nearby bus shelter.
The accused, both of no fixed address, were brought to police headquarters, where the investigation continued.

Police said the suspects have a lengthy history of committing thefts together across Ontario. The incident the officers responded to was the second in two days involving the same store.
The suspects face a combined 14 criminal charges, including multiple counts of theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000, and failing to comply with probation orders, undertakings, and a release order.
