An Uber driver was robbed of their vehicle in Wasaga Beach.

Ontario Provincial Police say this happened around 10:15 Wednesday night on Mosley Street near the Pizza Pizza.

"A passenger entered an Uber vehicle and after a short interaction, the male suspect threatened the driver and stole the motor vehicle. The Uber driver was left at the side of the road and was able to flee without injury. No weapon was seen," police said in a news release.

Early Thursday, police found the vehicle in the area of 8th Street and Walnut Street in Collingwood.

Huronia West OPP asks anyone with video or information to call the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122. Crime Stoppers can be reached anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS.
