SSP charge unlicensed 16-year-old with impaired driving

A 16-year-old girl has been charged with impaired driving and other offences after a vehicle collided with a sign around 3:20 a.m. Saturday in the area of Line 8 and Barrie Street in Bradford.

South Simcoe Police say the unlicensed driver was not injured.

The teen, who is from Bradford, has been charged with:

  • impaired operation
  • taking a motor vehicle without consent
  • careless driving
  • fail to remain
  • driving a motor vehicle without a licence
