Vehicle at auto shop for repairs stolen in Innisfil

Several other vehicles at the shop were broken into

South Simcoe Police are investigating after a vehicle that was at an Innisfil auto shop for repairs was stolen.

This happened during a break-in on Thursday in the area of Kate Avenue and Innisfil Beach Road.

The vehicle was recovered just east of there, with no damage and no contents missing.

Police say other vehicles at the shop were broken into.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses, and anyone with dam cam or security camera footage to contact police at 705-436-2141, 905-775-3311, or contact Crime Stoppers.
