Vehicle found on train tracks; driver charged with impaired by Orillia OPP

Police received several traffic complaints about a suspected drunk driver
Wasaga Beach resident robbed by man claiming to be a police officer

Orillia OPP put out a stop train order after they located a suspected drunk driver on a set of train tracks in Ramara Township.

Police say they received traffic complaints about a possible impaired driver around 10 Thursday night. Officers were told the motorist had turned onto the tracks, and that is where they found the driver.

He was arrested and taken back to the detachment for further investigation.

A 37-year-old man from Pefferlaw was charged with impaired driving and refuse to comply with a demand.
