(Video) A purrrrrfect ending to an OPP traffic stop in Cambridge

A kitten just had to see what all the commotion was about.

Ontario Provincial Police have released video of a traffic stop on Highway 7/8 in Cambridge in which a little furball became the star.

Uploaded to Twitter on Friday, Ontario Provincial Police say the officer conducting the traffic stop heard a "sound" coming from the ditch. A few minutes later, a kitten emerged from the grass and sat at the officers feet.

The driver in the video was issued a warning.

Police said the kitten is receiving veterinary care.
