UPDATE: Two CF-18 Hornets flew over Barrie on Wednesday in what the Royal Canadian Air Force said was a routine flying exercise.
For a brief moment yesterday, it looked like a repeat of June's Barrie Airshow.
Several people let Barrie 360 know the jets also soared across the Greater Toronto Area.
A public affairs officer told Barrie 360 the two jets were operating out of 8 Wing Trenton and passed by between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Previous Story:
Two jets were observed flying over Barrie today.
Canadian Forces Base Borden told Barrie 360 earlier in the day that the aircraft were not from their base.
The two were spotted around the noon hour.
Barrie 360 has reached out to other bases where the jets could have come from and is waiting for a response.
